SOLTEC•Z App Privacy Policy 

This privacy policy (“SOLTEC•Z App Privacy Policy”) describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of your information when you use our app, SOLTEC•Z.

Ensure Seamless Device Pairing: Grant Location Permission

Our app needs access to your location to enable the scanning and connection to nearby Bluetooth devices, including our health tracker device. This permission is specifically required for Bluetooth scanning, syncing, reading biometric data, and device management. Please grant location access when prompted. Rest assured, we do not store or collect your location data. Your privacy is our top priority.

By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this SOLTEC•Z App Privacy Policy and our general Privacy Policy to be bound by the Terms of this Privacy Policy and the SOLTEC Health Terms and Conditions.

Collecting and Using Your Personal Information

Personal Information 

While using our Services, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. “Personal Information” uniquely identifies an individual or can identify an individual by combining it with other data. It includes email addresses, phone numbers and other information associated with the individual. The legal name and definition of personal information differs from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. SOLTEC will not use or share Personal Information other than as described in this Privacy Policy. 

Personal Information includes:

Email address 

First name and last name

Height, weight and gender, for analytical study, not associated with the identity of the user. Secure, personal and sensitive user data is kept separate and is protected from direct access, unless the user grants permission for support.

Usage Data 

Usage Data is collected automatically and when using the Services. 

Usage Data may include information such as your device’s (“Device”) Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Services that you visit. 

When you access the Services by or through a mobile device, we may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data. 

We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Services or when you access the Services by or through a mobile device. 

Use of Your Personal Information 

We may use and share your information for any legally permissible purpose, including:

• providing you with use of the Websites and Services;  

• providing you with products or services, whether from SOLTEC, or any affiliates or sponsors; 
• providing you with customized content and services;  
• providing technical or customer support;  
• performing research and analysis to gauge the use of the Websites and Services;  
• communicating with you by e-mail, postal mail, telephone, text message, and/or mobile devices about products or services that may be of interest to you from SOLTEC, any affiliates, sponsors or other third-parties;  
• enforcing, this Privacy Policy, other SOLTEC posted policies, enforce SOLTEC agreements, or otherwise manage its business;  
• to administer the working relationship with you/your employer; 
• where we have another legitimate interest in doing so;

You acknowledge and agree that SOLTEC may use and disclose your personal and non-personal information to public or private third-parties: (i) for inspection by law enforcement officials (including in the case of potential criminal activity); (ii) to respond to cease and desist letters, arbitration proceedings, legal actions and suits, criminal and civil subpoenas, any court orders; (iii) to enforce or apply the terms of this Privacy Policy or any other agreement between us; and (iv) to protect our users, and others’ rights, property, or safety whether during or after the term of your use of our Services. 

Except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy, we do not rent or sell any personal information we collect to any third parties. 

Unless otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy, we shall not disclose Personal Information you submit to us except (i) with affiliates, licensees, subsidiaries and successors, (ii) when we have your permission, or (iii) as necessary:

• To comply with our legal obligations, enforce this Privacy Policy, any other SOLTEC agreements, or otherwise to protect the rights, property or safety of our users and business partners;

Retention of Your Personal Information 

The Company will retain your Personal Information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations and our internal record retention policies, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Your information, including Personal Information, is processed at the Company’s operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. It means that this information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction. The information collected through the Services may be stored at servers, computers, or other media located in the United States. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. 

Email Marketing 

We may use your Personal Information to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt-out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in any email we send or by contacting us as provided below. At places on our website where you give us your personal information, you may opt out of receiving those communications. 

We may need to verify your identity before providing you with Personal Information or updating it in our system.   

Payments 

We may provide paid products and/or services within the Services. We store or collect your payment card details. We adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council.  

In certain instances, we may use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors). 

California Privacy Rights 

We will not share any personal information about you with other companies if prohibited by applicable California law or to the extent your prior consent to share is required by applicable California law.

Your Rights under the GDPR 

These disclosures apply only to our processing of Personal Information within the scope of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) from one or more of the European Union Member States plus Iceland, Lichtenstein and Norway (together known as the “European Economic Area” or “EEA”).

Children’s Privacy 

Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from anyone under the age of 18 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

Our Services may contain links to other websites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
