SOLTEC HEALTH is pioneering a new industry through the discovery of non-invasive technological innovations which will, cost-effectively, improve sleep and reduce stress. We’re looking for a skilled web developer to join our team of innovative engineers and designers. Proficiency in WordPress, WooCommerce, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, site and hosting maintenance and a desire to work with the design and SEO team is key to success in this role.

Objectives of this Role

Consistently improve and maintain the website, working with the team to determine the best environment to support the brand and company objectives.

Reflect the designs created by the team.

Enhance the interactivity of the website.

Establish workflows with the team.

Test all browsers and devices to ensure various computers can access content. Help determine best solutions for testing results on various devices and platforms.

Keep up with trends, software updates and best practices across new technology developments, including in-house products and software.

Responsibilities

Support the SOLTEC HEALTH brand with consistent integration of design elements.

Develop and maintain fully functioning eCommerce website, including the development of automated systems for customer service and marketing.

Ensure website stability and safety, support quality assurance, and perform testing to identify bugs.

Work quickly and carefully to complete small edits requested by team, develop plans for completing larger projects, collaborate with colleagues, and suggest new solutions to improve existing website.

Create reusable objects and templates for web pages.

Maintain regular file backups to hosted and local directories.

Skills and Qualifications

Degree or proven experience in web development or related field.

Experience planning and developing websites across multiple products and platforms.

Working knowledge of web applications, programming languages, and web services, such as APIs, CSS, CSS3, cross-browser compatibility, HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP, security principles, REST,  SOAP, and web user interface design (UI)

Proficiency with WordPress.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to multi-task with strict time constraints, budgets and business goals.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with WooCommerce, Divi, Cloudflare

Working experience in Windows and Linux environments, setting up local servers, XAMPP etc.

Benefits Package

Competitive benefits package including salary, health insurance and paid time off.

Salary Range

$60,000 – $80,000 per year, commensurate to experience.
